Astrocruise is a consultancy and manufacturer's
representative which specialises in the specification and supply
of IP Telephony solutions, protocol software, and professional services.
The company was founded in 2003 by Philip Perkins who has been involved
in software since 1982, the last 14 years of which have been dedicated
to communications software.
The name Astrocruise has astronomical origins,
having been established in 1997 as the website
of Philip Perkins for the dissemination of his astronomical images
and articles. The website gained a popular following in the astronomical
community with good search engine visibility. In forming a company
dedicated to communications protocols we decided to continue that
association and the company name Astrocruise Limited was a natural
choice.
